Three Tele Gold Lace sensors, five way switch with Strat-style combinations. The mini-toggle turns on the bridge pickup in the middle and neck+middle combinations, which is a convenient way to get all seven active combinations of three pickups. Lace sensors on Teles require careful attention to pickup height selection; you should exploit the fact that Lace sensors have no string pull to consider running the pickups right up to the limits of mechanical interference. I do this to narrow the pickup aperture and get the greatest differentiation between pickups which gives the widest tonal coloration. |
